**Exciting Opportunity for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse!** - **Position:** Labor and Delivery RN - **Unit:** L&D RN SJO L AND D, - **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) - **Schedule Type:** Other - **Patient Ratios:** - Days: 1:1 or 2 - Nights: 1:1 or 2 - Weekends: 1:1 or 2 - **Years of Experience:** 2 years required (HARD STOP) - **Travel Experience:** Required (HARD STOP, no exceptions) **Certifications Required:** - BLS - ACLS - NRP - AWHONN Intermediate (required) - AWHONN Advanced (preferred) **Essential Skills:** - Medication Administration: - Antihypertensives - Insulin drips - Magnesium sulfate therapy - Labor and Delivery Management: - Assist with high-risk delivery - Assist with vaginal delivery - Circulate for C-section - Special Procedures: - Cervical cerclage - D & C - Fetal Monitoring: - Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns - Use of external fetal monitoring - Additional Skills: - High risk antepartum care - Antepartum procedures using EFM **Work Environment:** - Neonates and Adults - Interdisciplinary support teams (IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and more) **Additional Details:** - MUST be able to circulate - Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred - Please note that weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs - All RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of application - Guaranteed hours may reflect facility's ability to call off once per pay period (2 weeks) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
