Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Worcester, MA, requiring C-section circulator experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; candidates without license in hand may be considered if willing to make MA licensure a top priority upon offer
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or above AWHONN fetal monitoring
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required; 3 years strongly preferred (2 years may be considered with travel experience)
• Must be able to circulate C-sections
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions

Additional Information

• Two pass/fail exams are administered during orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each allows only one attempt; failure results in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided prior to and during the compliance process to help candidates prepare for orientation exams
• Local candidates are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
