About the Position

We are seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver for a short-term assignment. This position offers a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to work locally with a reputable client. The assignment is expected to last for one month but may extend based on operational needs.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay Rate: $26.77 per hour
• Health & Welfare: $5.36 per hour
• Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off (off Thursday and Friday)
• Working Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
• Start Time: 10:45 AM
• Total Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 hours

Job Details

• Route Type: Local
• Type of Assignment: Short Term (1 month, with potential for extension)
• Equipment: Dry Van
• Transmission Type: Automatic
• Handling: Touch loading and unloading of mail carts on wheels
• Route: Gastonia Yard to Florence QVC and back
• Minimum Pay: 8 hours if the run is less than 8 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time
• Dependably execute assigned routes and tasks

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• CDL Class: CDL A
• Experience: 18+ months of driving experience
