Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an LDRP Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience, with day shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Details

• LDRP unit within a hospital setting, caring for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
• Couplet care is required, and antepartum/high-risk pregnancy experience is a plus
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• On-call required: 3–4 call shifts per 8-week block
• Floating required to Pediatrics and NICU; may also be assigned to safety sit on other units

Requirements

• Active MT RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in labor, delivery, and postpartum care required
• Candidates must reside 75+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive LDRP nursing care including labor support, delivery, recovery, and postpartum couplet care
• Antepartum and high-risk pregnancy experience is a strong plus, as the unit also cares for antepartum patients
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live 75 or more miles from the facility
