Key Responsibilities of the Labor & Delivery Travel Nurse:

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout the birthing process.
• Administer medications and manage IVs as ordered.
• Educate and support patients and families before, during, and after childbirth.
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff.

Requirements of the Labor & Delivery Travel Nurse:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kansas or compact eligible).
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-centered care skills.
