Unit Details

• Department: LDRP
• Beds: 14 LDRP rooms (true LDRP model)
• OR Suites for C-Sections: 2 (RNs circulate and recover)
• Triage Beds: 4 (travelers will staff)
• Birth Volume: ~90/month | ~1,200/year
• NICU: Embedded within 7 LDRP rooms
• EFM System: Centricity
• Charting: EPIC

Staffing & Ratios AWHONN Staffing Standards followed Labor: 1:1 (unless pairing 2 cervical ripening patients) Postpartum: 1:3 couplet care Triage: 1:3 (resource RN utilized if up to 4 patients) Support Staff: Admin Supervisor on every shift Charge RN (no assignment) Resource RN & Triage RN (Resource RN attends all deliveries as “baby catcher”) 1 CST per shift 1 CNA per shift (may flex to HUC role if needed)
