Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a community hospital and regional referral center in Lake Havasu City, AZ, requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and night shift availability.

Details

• LDRP unit in a 171-bed Joint Commission accredited community hospital and regional referral center
• 8-bed OB/GYN combined unit serving childbearing-age women with occasional gynecological surgery cases
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines
• Equipment includes GE monitors and Panda warmers
• EMR: OBTV/Medhost
• Night shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• Weekend rotation every 4th weekend
• Occasional floating required
• 13-week contract in Lake Havasu City, AZ

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: NRP and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (AHA certifications required)
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must not reside within 60 miles of the facility to qualify for travel pay

Additional Information

• Primary case mix includes normal L&D and normal newborn care
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Lake Havasu City offers outdoor recreation including fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking, with proximity to Las Vegas (2.5 hrs), Phoenix (3.25 hrs), and the Grand Canyon (3.5 hrs)
