RN - Labor & Delivery
Location: Rochester, MI
Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Night shift - 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Weekends: Every other weekend required

• Requirements

• Experience:
  
  • Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience
  • 1 year of Cerner experience
  • Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care
• Certifications:
  
  • BLS (Required)
  • NRP (Required)
• Licensure:
  
  • Current Michigan RN license (Michigan State Board of Nursing)

Education

• Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN )

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. The RN utilizes the nursing process-assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation-to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and family education. The role includes effective communication with the healthcare team and active participation in identifying and resolving variances from patient care goals.
