CDL A Truck Driver

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class A Roll-Off/End Dump Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in La Porte, TX! This route runs from La Porte, TX to New Martinsville, WV and averages 2800 miles per week. About the role: Average $200-250K per year Weekly home time Compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay Why work for Clean Harbors? Positive and safe work environments RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times Picks up waste from customer locations utilizing roll-off and/or end dumps units Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations Maintains daily logs, invoicing, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports QUALIFICATIONS Class A CDL HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience Pump required (if applicable): Wet-Kit, Roper Pump or Hydraulic Ability to climb and work from heights required Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software For additional information about driver career opportunities, please call us at 72-DRIVE ).
