Shift Details: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, 3 shifts per week, 36 scheduled hours.

Job Order Details: Start date 04/13/2026, end date 07/13/2026, duration 13 weeks.

Unit Information: APU 66350, Corpus Christi Bay Area, 7101 S Padre Island Dr, PO Box 8991, Corpus Christi, TX 78412, Floor 2 East, Main Building.

Number of Beds: 12, Number of Staff: 9 RNs, 2 new grads in orientation, 1 NE. Day shift: 2 RNs, 1 NE if available. Night shift: 2 RNs.

Patient Ratios: 3-4 per RN.

Type of equipment: Baxter IV Pumps, GE Fetal Monitoring.

EMR: CPN, Meditech.

Typical hiring profile: Skill set most recruited for: Must have: ACLS, BLS, NRP, IFM. RN preferred or nice to have: CPN, Meditech, L&D experience.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Routine assessments, fetal monitoring, vital signs, finger sticks.

Best personality fit: Outgoing, eager, confident.

Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, IFM.

Floating area(s): L&D to care for APU patients, PP to care for PP moms only.

Dress code: Scrub color/attire - Royal Blue scrubs.

Unit guidelines/policies:

Weekends and on call: Weekend shifts are required, 4 per 4 week schedule period.
