Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

This role involves providing nursing care to pregnant patients in labor and delivery, including high-risk cases. Responsibilities include managing laboring and antepartum patients, circulating C-sections, and ensuring postpartum and couplet care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage high-acuity labor patients, including those with preeclampsia and preterm labor.
• Circular C-sections and provide recovery care.
• Perform IV starts, cervical checks, phlebotomy, magnesium sulfate administration, and blood administration.
• Provide care for postpartum and couplet patients throughout the contract.

Requirements:

• BLS and NRP certifications.
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• EPIC charting experience preferred.
• Manager approval required if lacking experience in Level 3 or higher LD unit.

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota

Shift: 12 Hour Variable, 07:00:00-19:00:00
