TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Columbus, OH.

CDL A Details

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 730am Start time, 8-10 hours per day

Pay: CDL A $30 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours, $1,200 - $1,300 Estimated weekly pay

Route Type: Home daily - delivering to OH, IN, & MI

Freight / Load Type: Seed, nutrients, & crop protection products
-
Equipment: Day cab hauling dry van trailer, Automatic
-
Handling: May have to unload with fork truck or pallet jack.
CDL A Minimum Requirements:
-
License: CDL A with Hazmat
-
Experience: Prefer 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)

Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Responsibilities:
-
Safely operate CDL A on local routes
-
Transport products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
-
Perform required handling tasks including pallet jack when required

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
-
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
-
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
-
Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable
