**Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Nursing Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery) - **Shift:** Days (7AM - 7PM) - **Weekend Requirement:** Every 3rd weekend - **Patient Ratio:** 1:1, 1:2, or as assigned to OBED **Summary:** - As a competent Nurse with experience in the clinical setting, you will practice independently and be aware of all relevant aspects of patient care. - Provide both routine and complex care while working towards long-range goals and plans. - Develop skills to manage clinical contingencies effectively. - Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to support patient care. **Responsibilities:** - Meet expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Deliver nursing care in alignment with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, including: - Assessment - Diagnosis - Planning - Intervention - Evaluation for assigned patients - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments using protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. - Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers; identify issues and resources. **Job Requirements:** **Education/Skills:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. **Experience:** - 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - RN License in state of TX or compact. - Current BLS certification required (AHA only). - Current ACLS certification required (AHA only). - Current NRP certification required. - Current certification from NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN courses: Intermediate FHM. **Position Requirements:** - All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - Initial onboarding requirements validated through designated organizational entry competency and Perinatal Department-specific competency validation. - Completion of all annual competency verification requirements. **Work Schedule:** - 7AM - 7PM **Work Type:** - Full Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
