Local CDL A Driver - No Touch - $26 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Fort Myers, FL. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details: 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am Start until the route is complete

• Pay:  $26 Per hour

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Port related items, and also Milk runs

• Equipment: Tanker/ Dry Van

• Handling: No touch freight

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: Tanker & Hazmat required, TWIC Preferred 

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including touch freight when needed

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including (lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable)
