Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,484 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Hanford, California.

Job Summary

Experienced OB RN needed for a night shift assignment in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment. The ideal candidate will be confident managing laboring patients, postpartum recovery, and cesarean section deliveries. Candidates must be able to independently take over a recovery in Labor & Delivery and assist with cesarean section deliveries, including catching babies during C-sections.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to OB and Labor & Delivery patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
• Manage patient recovery following delivery and cesarean sections
• Assist physicians during vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Perform newborn assessments and immediate neonatal care
• Accurately document patient care and clinical updates
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia providers, NICU staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with patient safety and hospital protocols

Requirements

• Active RN License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Previous OB/Labor & Delivery experience required
• Must be able to:
  • Take over Labor & Delivery recoveries independently
  • Catch babies during cesarean section deliveries
