Job Title: Travel RN Labor & Delivery
Location: Vacaville, CA - 95688
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | 12hr-36hr/week
Duration: 13 weeks+ (Possible Extension)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery .
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist physicians and clinical teams during deliveries and procedures.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and emergency obstetric situations.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with clinical protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent RN experience within the last 3 years .
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program .
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
• 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience (within the last 2 years preferred).
• 1+ year of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years.
• Experience with High-Risk OB patients .
• Additional certifications such as ACLS and AWHONN preferred.
