Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for high-risk deliveries in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
• Function as the Baby Nurse during delivery and continue care of the newborn until transfer to postpartum.
• Circulate during surgeries and manage newborn assessments, including eyes, Vitamin K injections, and thigh assessments.
• Administer medications such as Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate as necessary.
• Float between postpartum and antepartum units as required, including potential floats to sister facilities.
• Maintain compliance with Epic charting systems and adhere to AWHONN guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with eligibility for compact license recognition.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery preferred.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS and AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Proficient in circulating C-sections and advanced newborn care practices.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
• Successful completion of clinical review and provision of supervisory references.
