Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least one year of L&D experience and working nights in a LDRP setting.
Job Details
• Work in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit with 5 LDRP rooms and 10 bassinets,
• Facility performs approximately 210-230 deliveries per year,
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,
• Some weekend and holiday coverage required,
• EMR system is Cerner; fetal monitoring system is PeriWatch,
• 13-week assignment with possibility of extension,
Job Requirements
• Active RN license in Georgia (GA) or a Compact RN license currently in hand,
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certificate (Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certificate also accepted),
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required,
• Nursery (Level 1-2) experience required,
• Required skills include newborn care, postpartum care, labor and delivery, IV starts, medical screening exams, and vaginal exams,
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred,
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration,
• Two professional references required for consideration,
Additional Information
• Provide comprehensive LDRP nursing care including labor support, delivery assistance, recovery monitoring, and postpartum care,
• Royal Blue scrubs required and are not provided by the facility,
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced pay rate,
• Minimal to no time off (RTO) is available during this assignment,
• Previous travel experience is preferred but not required
