• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 – $1,650 (Travel L&D RN pay range)
• Unit Details: 9 L&D beds, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, 3-bed OBED, 8-bed Level 2 NICU
• Patient Ratios: 1:2 (Labor & Delivery RN ratios)
• Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per month

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (compact or state licensure per assignment requirements)
• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience as an OB RN
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Clinical skills: circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, postpartum hemorrhage management (JADA system)
• Nitrous oxide experience preferred
• Advanced certifications such as Spinning Babies or STABLE are a plus
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, support for individualized birth plans, and high-quality perinatal outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, promote vaginal birth opportunities, and support individualized birth plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including midwives, CRNAs, OBGYNs, and NNPs available 24/7
• Circulate in the OR and assist with high-risk and cesarean deliveries as needed
• Use CPN and Meditech documentation systems for accurate charting and clinical communication
• Float to mother/baby or other departments as required, including support for Level 2 NICU when needed
• Maintain patient experience and quality metrics (unit goal: patient experience scores above 75%)
• Follow unit-specific policies and dress code (hot pink and black uniform)
