WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a high‑performing L&D team at a respected hospital in Hyannis, MA. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process.
Job Function:
- Day Shift.
- 5x8: 7am-3:30pm.
- Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level of care
- Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity
- Implement timely interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition
- Identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately
- Administer medications safely in accordance with the Five Rights and infection‑control standards
- Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines
- Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.

Current Massachusetts RN license.

BLS and ACLS certifications required.

NRP certification (American Academy of Pediatrics).

Successful completion of facility Pharmacology exam.

Fetal Monitoring Course (Intermediate or Advanced) completed within the last 2 years.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Recent OB experience within the last 2 years required.

CPI (Crisis Prevention) preferred.
