**Join Our Team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Are you a passionate and skilled nurse ready to make a significant impact in the lives of mothers and newborns? - We are looking for a dedicated RN for our dynamic Labor and Delivery and Postpartum unit. - Experience the excitement of working in a high-stakes, rewarding environment with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio for Labor and Delivery and 1:6 for Postpartum. **Key Responsibilities:** - Embrace the role of a leader in nursing practice, honing your skills in the management of both self and others. - Deliver exceptional nursing care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness, following established protocols. - Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided meticulously. - Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers on relevant issues and available resources. **Job Requirements:** - **Education/Skills:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. - **Experience:** - 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred. - **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - Current certification required from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM). - Current STABLE certification required from one of the following courses: Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor. - Current NRP certification required. - Current BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only). - RN License in the state of TX or compact. - **Position Requirements:** - All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - New hires will be precepted by designated trained staff to ensure successful onboarding and competency validation. - Completion of all annual competency verification requirements essential. - Perinatal RN Residency or recent practice in a Perinatal Setting preferred. **Work Schedule:** - Night shifts: 7 PM - 7 AM - Full-Time position with competitive pay. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** - At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country. - Enjoy competitive pay, seamless onboarding, and a supportive recruiter who’s with you every step of the way. - Join us — where your expertise makes a difference every day!
