Location: Liberal, KS
13-Week Contract | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
 

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor & Delivery (L&D) position at Southwest Medical Center. This is a true L&D role with additional responsibilities across postpartum and newborn care, requiring a well-rounded and flexible nursing professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in Labor & Delivery
• Assist with postpartum and couplet care
• Support newborn nursery and special care nursery
• Care for OB/GYN post-operative patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure high standards of patient care and safety

Requirements

• Active RN license (Kansas)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience , with strong L&D background
• Must have completed at least 2 travel assignments (no first-time travelers)
• Certifications required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
• Must be comfortable working across multiple units (L&D, postpartum, nursery)

Shift Details

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract
• Weekend and holiday rotation as required
