Position Title: RN-Labor and Delivery
Job Location: Rochester, MI
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shifts: Nights: 19:00- 7:30, 36 hrs/week
No. of positions: 1
Must Have: Active BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NIHSS and Nursing License
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of pregnant women upon admission, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Assist with pain management techniques, including administering medications and epidurals as ordered.
• Educate mothers on postpartum care, including breastfeeding, infant care, and recovery from childbirth.
• Provide instructions on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and postpartum recovery.
Education & Experience Requirements:
• Work history/resume
• 1+ years' experience required
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and NIHSS certifications may be required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications may be required
