Opportunity:

Labor & Delivery Nurse

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required
• Does not accept first-time travelers
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred)
• Staffing ratio of 1:1-3 patients
• Float required to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set
• Care for patients with labor/preterm labor diagnoses
• Work in 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Provide circulate, OB-GYN, Post-Op, Pre-Op, Scrub, Low Risk Antepartum, and Low Risk LD care
• Perform blood/blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket procedures
• Manage drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac equipment
• Administer heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Attend all deliveries including high-risk deliveries
• Support GYN surgeries, couplet care, low risk antepartum, and transition nursery
• Care for adolescents, infants, and adults
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 16 hours pre-start and annually
• Provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years during compliance process
