Advanced EMT - LifeLink Emergency Transport

This role involves providing patient care and transportation services as part of an advanced life support ambulance team. The position supports emergency, non-emergency, convalescent, and long-distance transport missions within a busy metropolitan area in the Southeastern United States. Responsibilities include obtaining and accurately recording billing information, documenting patient care thoroughly, and meeting specific performance standards under the supervision of a Shift Supervisor.
Education and Certification

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, which may be completed or renewed during orientation.
• Completion of NIMS 100, 200, and 700 courses.
• Possession and maintenance of a valid driver's license.

• At least one year of field EMS, rescue, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures, rescue techniques, hazardous materials response, and pre-hospital care equipment.
• Familiarity with regional geography, including major streets, landmarks, and healthcare facilities, to be acquired within six months of employment.
• Ability to remain calm under high-stress situations and follow established protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact compassionately and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.
• Capability to safely operate various ambulance vehicles and perform emergency driving maneuvers.
• Physical strength to lift and move patients weighing up to 150 pounds, often requiring awkward positioning.
• Awareness of age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual patient needs.
• Required sensory abilities including hearing, speaking, and visual acuity.

• Ability to navigate multiple physical environments, including confined spaces.
• Must maintain all certifications continuously while employed.
