Job title: Special Events CDL Driver Technician

Non Exempt Hourly
SUMMARY
The Special Events CDL Driver Technician is responsible for operating company vehicles, including commercial-grade vehicles, to transport, deliver, and set up event trailers. Perform any necessary repair work on sanitation equipment according to company standards. In addition, a ssist with yard duties and preventative maintenance to ensure sanitation equipment and yard remain in safe and good working condition.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Minimum of 2 years of driving a company vehicle safely. Commercial license A is required. Ability to tow trailers, set up, and break down. Basic mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of sanitation equipment. Ability to solve problems effectively. Ability to effectively communicate with customers. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to two years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and write English, interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. They should also be able to speak English effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Basic Spanish skills is a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Class A license required.

Compensation details: 20-24 Hourly Wage
