**Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery - **Location:** Beachside Acute Care Hospital - **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) - **Experience Required:** 2 years in Labor and Delivery - **Travel Experience:** Yes, strong candidates will be screened for NM review **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections - Perform sterile vaginal exams - Float to postpartum as needed - Work in an OR suite during C-sections using standard equipment **Unit Highlights:** - Births/month: 200-300 - Patient demographic: Neonates, Adolescents, Adults - Daily census: 200 deliveries/month - Number of rooms: 9 Labor/High Risk, 4 Antepartum, 3 Triage - Interdisciplinary support: Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy **Preferred Skills/Certifications:** - AWHONN Advanced, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM - Experience in high risk pregnancy monitoring and fetal heart monitoring - Ability to provide PP couplet care and perform the newborn role at delivery is a bonus! **Work Environment:** - No on-call required - Every other weekend coverage - Emphasis on patient privacy, serving a variety of populations including high-profile clients **Special Procedures:** - Handle antepartum, intrapartum, C-sections, and postpartum couplet care **Additional Information:** - Charting System: Epic - Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, beachside - Total Staffed Beds: 266 - Scrub Color: RNs - Navy Blue, L&D/OR/Cath Lab - provided - Parking Options Available **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
