Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a KS or compact license, ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications, with night shift availability and occasional float duties.

Details

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with a 10-bed LDRP, 4-bed GYN/Post-op, 14 well-baby beds, and 3 Special Care Nursery beds
• Facility delivers approximately 900 births per year, supported by 2 OB/GYN doctors and 3 pediatricians
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Occasional floating to Med/Surg, ICU, and ER expected (approximately 2–3 times per 13-week contract)
• Local candidates are accepted for this position

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a compact state currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Must reside more than 80 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
