Job Description
DUTIES:
- Operate and drive a truck in connection with the collection of garbage, refuse, ashes, and snow; and in
the transportation of men and materials such as sand, stone, gravel, dirt, and various supplies. - Perform manual labor, such as building and grounds maintenance.
- May lubricate/clean truck and perform minor mechanical adjustments and repairs.
- Good knowledge of the operation of heavy-duty trucks and other similar automotive equipment.
- Willingness to work under all weather conditions.
- Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
- Does related work as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a New York State Driver's License Class CDL A or B, with Air Brake
Endorsement at the time of appointment and the maintenance of such license continuously throughout the time of employment.
START DATE: As soon as possible
SALARY: $ 40, base salary) plus additional salary credit for appropriate prior experience
and/or education. Excellent Benefits are available.
