Key Responsibilities of the LDRP Nurse

• Assist with high-risk delivery and circulate for C-sections
• Manage labor and delivery, high-risk antepartum care
• Triage obstetrical patients, perform sterile vaginal exams
• Administer medications including anticoagulation therapy, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate
• Conduct newborn assessments and provide lactation support
• Educate parents on discharge protocols and newborn care

Requirements of the LDRP Nurse

• New York RN license in hand
• Minimum 2 years LDRP experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• Experience with Allscripts charting system preferred
