RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D)
This position is for an LDRP nurse whereas L&D and mother baby experience is required, as well as required float. Traveler will be working between L&D and Mother Baby. Must be comfortable with the prison population. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI), NIH, AWHONN, NRP. Orientation shifts are split into two 8 hr shifts, followed by orientation with the department two 12 hour shifts. 1 year experience required. 1st time travelers and locals accepted at the same rate.

Additional Unit Information: Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy. Patient diagnoses include 32 weeks and above deliveries. Unit cares for prison population. Staffing is two or three nurses per shift with a scrub tech.

Compliance Requirements: HealthStream approvals required 12 days prior to start. All other compliance requirements due Wednesday prior to start. Facility has a strict DO NOT call policy. Labs: Candidates must complete labs within 72 hours of signing. Modules: Modules are non-billable, generally up to 2 hours to complete. Modules are completed pre-start, and factored in NBO. Modules are recorded by certificates of completion.
