RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Hard-stop: labor and post-partum experience is required. Will allow 4x12 upon request. Ratios 1:3. Orientation: 36 hrs. Years of experience REQ: 2. First-timers accepted: Certs REQ: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP. Certs Pref: AWHONN Advanced. Block Scheduling: No. Float Required: Yes. Locals accepted: No. Pending License accepted: No. RTO Restrictions: RTO must be included at time of submission. Guaranteed Hours: facility is able to call off once per two week pay period.

  • Patient Diagnoses: - Special Procedures/Unit Details: - Special Equipment: - Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Can only submit to 1 location within the region. Requires specific amount of exp. (ex: 1 or 2 yrs required for submission). Valid CA License in hand. Local radius: 50 Mile Radius Rule Applies. Local rule: accepted at lower BR. Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by. Copy of Certifications. Specific Charting Exp.: Epic. Return Staff Policy: 3 months to return as traveler. References Required: 2 References covering 1 year (6 months for CNA s) within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

Housing: Please have your traveler look into housing options in the area, as options may be limited. Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent. Over 20 hours requires PM approval. Modules are completed pre-start, and annually. Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts.
