Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care during labor and delivery.
They will work with a team to monitor and deliver high-quality care to patients.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Experience with high-risk pregnancies is essential for this role.
Immediate care for newborns is also a critical component of the job.
The work environment involves a 16-bed unit with a well-supported staff.
Patient ratios can range from 1:1 to 1:2, ensuring focused attention on each patient.
Equipment used includes Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring systems.
Candidates with circulating experience will be prioritized during the selection process.
An outgoing and adaptable personality is preferred for this position.
Weekend shifts may be required with prior approval.
