Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Provide safe and effective care during labor, delivery, and recovery phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and respond to any complications
• Administer medications, epidurals, and manage IVs as directed
• Support physicians and midwives during deliveries
• Educate and support new mothers and families throughout the birthing process
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
• Travel as required to fulfill assignment expectations

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active RN license in the state of New York
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
