Location: Lancaster, SC
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x12 Nights (6:45pm-7:15am; 3x12 or 4x12 accepted)
Pay: $2,240/week
Job Description
Travel RN needed for a high-risk Labor & Delivery / LDRP unit providing care through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum, including newborn transition after delivery. Unit manages mostly high-risk patients with ratios of 1:1-1:2. Floating to sister units within skill set is required. No first-time travelers accepted. Epic charting environment. Weekend coverage required.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope labor and delivery and LDRP nursing care
• Manage high-risk obstetrical patients during labor and delivery
• Catch and transition newborns after delivery
• Monitor fetal status and respond to abnormal heart rate patterns
• Circulate for C-sections and support operative deliveries
• Provide immediate newborn stabilization and care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Float to sister units within competency as needed

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina or Compact RN license required (in hand or proof of application)
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years recent L&D experience required
• LDRP experience preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Epic charting experience preferred
• STABLE certification preferred
