Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. Willing to obtain is allowed.
• Certifications NRP. Willing to obtain allowed for NRP.
• Certifications BLS. Willing to obtain allowed for BLS.
• Certifications ACLS. Willing to obtain allowed for ACLS.
• Certifications Fetal Monitoring - Intermediate (AWHONN)
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience.
• EMR Must have experience with EMRs.
• Skills Assessment LAD skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to manage a 3 couplet assignment is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with triage of obstetrical patients is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in the use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to start and maintain peripheral IVs is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to administer antihypertensives and insulin drips is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to assist with vaginal delivery is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to recover C-Sections is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in APGAR scores is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience as a Baby Nurse (Baby Catcher) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to collect cord samples is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in ID/Security Banding is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Newborn Assessment is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Epidural Anesthesia / Pain assessment & management is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Postpartum care and Procedures as well as M/B postpartum care is required.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 50.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
