Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to manage clinical situations effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery or a related nursing specialty is preferred.
• Current certification in AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM).
• Current STABLE certification for Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants.
• Current NRP and BLS certification required (AHA only).
• Active RN License in the state of Texas or compact.
