Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side-effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure compliance with appropriate standards and regulations in the delivery of professional nursing care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in Labor & Delivery nursing preferred.
• Current RN License in the state of Texas or compact license.
• BLS certification required (AHA only).
• Current certification in AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM).
• Current NRP and ACLS certification required (AHA only).
